Mumbai, March 31 (NationPress) In celebration of Eid on Monday, the creators of “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2” revealed the first glimpse of the forthcoming film, hinting at a quirky yet chaotic romantic narrative.
Kapil shared the first look on his Instagram, showcasing himself alongside a mysterious woman, both adorned in traditional Indian wedding clothing.
In the center, Kapil sports a beige sherwani complete with a sehra. His expression is one of surprise and mild confusion as he lifts a part of the sehra, perhaps to see better. The bride, whose face remains concealed, is dressed in a blue bridal outfit featuring intricate embroidery, with her visage hidden beneath a veil.
The film title “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2” is prominently displayed, accompanied by the message Eid Mubarak.
“Eid Mubarak #KKPK2,” Kapil captioned his post.
Featuring Kapil Sharma and Manjot Singh, the movie promises to deliver the signature comedy and chaos that characterized the success of its predecessor. Directed by Anukalp Goswami, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Abbas-Mustan under Venus Worldwide Entertainment, in collaboration with Abbas Mustan Film Production.
The original film, “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon?”, launched in 2015, marked Kapil's Bollywood debut, directed by Abbas Mustan. The ensemble cast also includes Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Fadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi, Elli Avram, Varun Sharma, Supriya Pathak, Sharat Saxena, and Manoj Joshi.
The storyline follows a man who marries three different women living in the same building, who remain oblivious to their shared husband. Complicating matters, all his wives are unexpectedly invited to his fourth wedding.
Kapil rose to fame after winning the stand-up comedy reality show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge season 3 in 2007. He has hosted and produced popular TV comedy shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil and Family Time with Kapil.
Following his debut in 2015, he appeared in Firangi and Zwigato.
