Mumbai, Dec 31 (NationPress) Bollywood sensation Kareena Kapoor Khan has recently shared her reflections on the year 2025, which she labeled as a ‘challenging’ time for both herself and her family.

Posting a stunning photograph of herself with husband Saif Ali Khan, she expressed, “As we gather to consider how we've reached the final day of the year… we’ve come this far.”

The actress pondered over the valuable lessons they learned in 2025. She remarked, “2025 has presented us with significant challenges, impacting our children and our families… Yet we navigated through it with our heads held high, sharing laughter and remaining steadfast. We shed many tears, offered prayers, and now we stand together… This year has taught us that the human spirit is indomitable, love triumphs over all, and our children possess greater bravery than we often realize. (sic)”

Expressing her heartfelt appreciation to fans and loved ones for their unwavering support, Kareena stated, “We wish to express our gratitude to our fans, friends, and everyone who has stood by us during this journey… and above all, to the Almighty.” As the Khan family prepares to welcome 2026, Kareena emphasized their feelings of gratitude and optimism.

“We are stepping into 2026 with renewed enthusiasm, immense thankfulness, and positivity, fueled by our passion for what we cherish most… the movies... As I always say, CHAR DI KALA. Happy New Year to all…!”

For those unaware, Kareena's husband, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, was attacked by a burglar in January 2025 at their home, leading to his hospitalization for nearly ten days. He sustained multiple stab wounds and a spinal injury.

Months after the incident, Saif publicly discussed the traumatic event during an appearance on the talk show 'Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle', hosted by Kajol and Twinkle Khanna. He revealed that he, along with their younger son Jeh and their nanny, were victims of the knife attack.

While recounting the incident on the talk show, Saif detailed how it occurred late at night while he and his family, including Kareena and their children, were at home.

He recounted, “We had just settled down for the night, and Kareena had been out. I finished watching movies with the boys, and they had gone to sleep. It was quite late, around 2 a.m. Kareena returned, we shared a brief conversation, and then we went to bed.”

He continued, “Suddenly, the maid entered and alerted me that someone was in Jeh's room asking for money. I rushed into Jeh's room in darkness and saw a man with a knife standing over his bed.”

Saif explained that the assailant had already harmed Jeh and was attempting to escape. “While threatening Jeh and the nanny with the knife, he had already inflicted a minor cut on Jeh's hand and had also injured the nanny.”

He added, “I thought the attacker was smaller than me, so I jumped on him. Later, Jeh told me it was a mistake; I should have fought differently. But I leaped at him, and we engaged in a struggle. He had two knives and began slashing at me, and I tried to recall my training to defend myself. I felt a severe blow to my back, and it was extremely painful.”

Saif elaborated, “At that moment, he had cut me multiple times—on my neck and back—and there was blood everywhere.” He also noted his son Taimur's fear during the incident. “I glanced at Taimur, who looked concerned and thought I might not survive. I reassured him, saying, ‘I’m not going to die; I’m fine despite the pain.’”

As for Kareena and Saif, the couple is currently enjoying a holiday where they will welcome the New Year with their children Taimur and Jeh.
