Mumbai, Sep 26 (NationPress) Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor made a notable public appearance amid her ongoing legal disputes concerning the inheritance of her late ex-husband Sunjay Kapur's estate. The actress was spotted at Navratri festivities in the city on Thursday, captivating everyone with her graceful demeanor. She donned a vibrant yellow saree, paired beautifully with eye-catching gold jewellery. With her trademark smile, she effortlessly posed for the photographers, marking this festive occasion as one of her sparse recent public outings.

This appearance coincides with the intensifying legal struggle involving her children and Priya Sachdev, the widow of her former husband, Sunjay Kapur. The children, Samaira Kapoor and Kiaan Kapoor, have approached the Delhi High Court for a rightful share of their father's estate.

In their petition, they have accused Priya Kapur, Sunjay’s third wife, of manipulating his will to claim the entire estate for herself. The siblings are requesting that one-fifth of the estate be allocated to each of them as they are the legal heirs of Sunjay Kapur.

Through their legal counsel, they assert that they maintained regular contact with their father through meetings, visits, holidays, video calls, and numerous WhatsApp chats, emphasizing their close relationship.

In response, Priya Sachdev has claimed that Karisma Kapoor and her children have already benefitted from assets worth INR 1900 crore. However, sources indicate that the control of these assets is held by Priya within the RK family trust, denying access to Karisma's children. This situation raises further questions, as the court was informed by Priya's attorney that the alleged will is not officially registered.

The conflict has escalated, with the Delhi High Court stepping in to address the dispute surrounding the estate of the late industrialist, valued at approximately INR 30,000 crore.
