Srinagar recorded a low of -0.6 degrees Celsius, while Pahalgam experienced -4.5 degrees Celsius.

In Jammu, the temperatures were milder at 7.2 degrees Celsius, with Katra at 6.4, Batote at 0.9, Banihal at -2.6, and Bhaderwah at -3.4.

The Meteorological (MeT) Department has predicted mostly dry and overcast conditions until the evening of January 31. On February 1 and 2, expect cloudy skies with light to moderate rain or snow in scattered to widespread areas.
