The festival, titled 'Permute 2025', will be officially launched by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

This event will introduce the newest version of 'MuLearn', a transformative platform designed to empower young individuals, significantly enhancing their skill sets for future job markets.

MuLearn aims to unite academia, industry players, skilling organizations, students, and professionals to build a talent reservoir that is ready for the future.

According to V.K. Mathews, Chairman of GTECH, which represents over 250 IT companies in Kerala employing more than 80 percent of the state's professionals, the evolving nature of work and talent demands is rapidly changing, propelled by groundbreaking technologies such as Artificial Intelligence.

“Re-skilling and upskilling have transitioned from mere career enhancement strategies for youth to essential requirements for meaningful employment,” Mathews emphasized.

He further stated, “MuLearn responds to this urgent need by fostering closer collaboration among all stakeholders to enhance skill development.”

GTECH comprises over 250 companies, collectively employing a significant majority of the professionals in the region.

'Permute 2025' will tackle critical educational challenges, including reimagining curricula for future readiness, promoting experiential learning, enhancing global industry partnerships, supporting adaptive education frameworks, and improving digital and technological proficiency.

Over 2,000 delegates are expected to gather for this one-day event, where experts will engage in discussions on the roadmap for skilling agencies and colleges to navigate the rapidly evolving talent landscape.

Various learning zones, such as Coder Zone, Creative Zone, Maker Zone, and Manager's Zone, will also be available for students.

Currently, MuLearn has registered approximately 45,000 students, with around 200 achievers who have developed software products that have gained international recognition.
