Tokyo/Kathmandu, Nov 11 (NationPress) Numerous global leaders on Tuesday conveyed their support for India and expressed their condolences after the tragic car explosion near Delhi's Red Fort, which has resulted in multiple casualties and numerous injuries.
Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi extended her sympathies to the families affected by the Delhi car explosion and prayed for the swift recovery of those injured.
"I am profoundly saddened to learn of the loss of many lives in the explosion that occurred in Delhi, India. On behalf of the Government and the people of Japan, I wish to express my deepest condolences to the victims and their grieving families. I also offer my sincere prayers for the rapid recovery of the injured," Takaichi shared on X.
The incident transpired on Monday evening when a Haryana-registered vehicle, a Hyundai i20, detonated near the Red Fort Metro Station.
Nepal Prime Minister Sushila Karki expressed her sorrow over the unfortunate Delhi blast, affirming that Kathmandu stands firmly with India.
In a statement posted on X, Karki remarked, "I am shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic explosion in Delhi last evening. My heartfelt condolences go out to the bereaved families, and I pray for the swift recovery of the injured. Nepal stands in solidarity with India during this time of mourning."
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim also voiced his sadness regarding the explosion in Delhi.
In a message on X, Ibrahim stated, "I am profoundly saddened by the explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi on Monday evening, which has resulted in multiple fatalities and numerous injuries. My sincere condolences go to the families of the victims and to the people of India as they grieve this senseless tragedy."
