New Delhi, May 10 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in further discussions with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan, and the heads of the three armed services concerning the anti-terror initiative ‘Operation Sindoor’. This occurred against the backdrop of minimal indications from Pakistan towards de-escalation of tensions.
The focus of the discussions was on evaluating the achievements of the anti-terror operation and strategizing to counter a potential offensive from Pakistan, which is reported to have repositioned troops in forward areas, suggesting an aggressive stance to escalate the situation further.
