The estimated investment for this project is around Rs 22,000 crore.

“Our government has successfully liberated more than 1.5 lakh bighas of land from encroachers. In the upcoming term, we aim to recover five lakh bighas,” Sarma stated, reinforcing the BJP-led government’s commitment to safeguarding Assam’s land and identity.
He asserted that illegal encroachments have threatened Assam’s demographic balance and economic security for decades, but the current government has taken strong and decisive actions to tackle this issue.
