Agartala, Sep 16 (NationPress) The former Chief Minister of Tripura and current Lok Sabha member, Biplab Kumar Deb, reflected on the significant impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s advice during a recent statement. He emphasized that a single sentence or a lesson can lead to a positive transformation in one’s life.

In a video message, Deb, who also previously held the position of state BJP President in Tripura, shared, “In the realm of politics, sometimes a guiding statement can alter the course of one’s entire existence. During my tenure as Chief Minister, I frequently had the opportunity to meet Hon’ble PM Sh Narendra Modi Ji. On one occasion, he inquired whether I consulted anyone before making decisions, to which I responded negatively. He advised me to seek out individuals for discussions prior to reaching conclusions. Reflecting on that, it’s clear to me now — a single sentence or a lesson can usher in positive changes in life.”

Expounding on the Prime Minister’s counsel, Deb noted that PM Modi encouraged him to engage with knowledgeable and experienced individuals before making crucial decisions. “You may consult any political figure, academic, religious leader, or anyone trustworthy without vested interests,” Deb quoted PM Modi.

During his time as Chief Minister, Deb frequently consulted the Prime Minister on various topics, including administrative decisions and party strategies.

Under Deb’s leadership, the BJP achieved a historic victory in Tripura, ending a 25-year rule by the CPI (M)-led Left Front. On May 14, 2022, Deb resigned from his position as Chief Minister at the request of the BJP’s central leaders, leading to Manik Saha taking over the role.

Saha was re-elected Chief Minister following the BJP-led coalition's victory in the Tripura Assembly elections in March 2023.

Recently, Chief Minister Saha expressed that PM Modi serves as his political mentor, inspiring him to engage in the BJP and political arena.

Earlier, Saha expressed his profound gratitude, stating, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is my sole inspiration for joining the BJP and active politics. When asked about my political mentor, I proudly declare it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi.” He added, “My political journey commenced by observing him, and I always seek his blessings.”

Saha, a dental surgeon turned politician, frequently highlights PM Modi’s charismatic leadership and contributions to the nation’s progress in various speeches at both governmental and non-governmental events.
