Bhopal, Feb 25 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Tuesday that Madhya Pradesh is poised to receive a significant boost in its investment landscape from the mining sector at the Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025.

While addressing the mining session of the GIS held at the Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya in Bhopal, he underscored the extensive investment potential within the mining sector.

In his speech, CM Yadav pointed out that Madhya Pradesh uniquely offers diamonds that can be seen “as casually as one might find a stone.”

He has set an ambitious goal of enhancing mineral revenue five times and expressed his belief that the GIS in Bhopal will achieve unprecedented levels of investment.

He highlighted the state's rich mineral resources, which include diamonds, limestone, dolomite, cement, copper, manganese, and rock phosphate.

The Chief Minister elaborated that a straightforward and adaptable mining policy has been crafted through inter-departmental collaboration, facilitating easier investment processes for potential investors in Madhya Pradesh.

He assured all mining sector investors of comprehensive support, noting that the state government is actively developing policies in partnership with the Government of India.

“With the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh is set to play a pivotal role in the nation’s mineral sector. A specialized summit for the mining sector will be organized in the near future,” the Chief Minister announced.

In addition, Principal Secretary of Minerals, Umakant Umrao, remarked that all areas of Madhya Pradesh are rich in mineral deposits, supported by a robust ecosystem for effective utilization.

Madhya Pradesh excels in the production of copper, manganese, and diamonds, ranks second in rock phosphate, third in limestone, and fourth in coal output. Additionally, 36 percent of the nation’s coal-bed methane reserves are located in Madhya Pradesh, ” he added.

The two-day summit, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bhopal on Monday, concluded with a speech from Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday.
