Bhopal, July 7 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh has secured investment proposals totaling Rs 15,606 crore during an investor meeting hosted by the state government in Ludhiana, Punjab on Monday.
According to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, these proposals are anticipated to create over 20,000 job opportunities, boosting the state's industrial expansion.
Yadav remarked, "The interactive sessions, one-on-one meetings, and discussions conducted in Ludhiana today culminated in investment proposals worth Rs 15,606 crore, expected to generate over 20,000 job opportunities."
Highlighting Madhya Pradesh’s distinct mineral resources, Yadav noted that Panna district is rich in diamonds, Shahdol has iron reserves, and new gold mines have been found in Singrauli.
He extended a warm invitation to all investors, emphasizing that Madhya Pradesh offers vast business opportunities on its resource-rich terrain.
"We are here to invite industrialists to invest in Madhya Pradesh. Invest confidently, and I guarantee that the government will back you in every possible way,” the Chief Minister addressed the assembly of industrialists.
He further stated that Madhya Pradesh has everything essential for industrial advancement, including land, electricity, water, and skilled workforce.
Yadav also expressed that Madhya Pradesh and Punjab are akin to brothers, with Punjab as the elder brother in grain production and Madhya Pradesh as the younger.
"Now, both brothers shall collaborate for the country's and Madhya Pradesh's development," he remarked, labeling Ludhiana as the “Manchester of India”, where industriousness has led to a unique identity for industrialists.
During his address, Yadav commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, asserting, "Under his guidance, India is advancing rapidly."
He noted that India's economic framework has strengthened, industrialization has intensified, and the nation has risen to become the world’s fourth-largest economy.
While in Ludhiana, Chief Minister Yadav conducted one-on-one discussions with notable industrialists from Punjab, introducing them to Madhya Pradesh’s investor-friendly policies.
