Bhopal, March 15 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, celebrated the state's growth trajectory on Sunday by unveiling a substantial financial injection of Rs 363 crore for Burhanpur district, referring to the recently launched factories and initiatives as "hubs of employment".
During a public gathering, Yadav underscored the government's unwavering dedication to creating job opportunities for all citizens and attributed India's economic ascent and global stature to the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The CM pointed out that under PM Modi's leadership, India has reached significant achievements, including the safe return of Indian students from the conflict-ridden zones of Russia-Ukraine.
He asserted that during the evacuation, hostilities were reportedly suspended out of respect for the Indian flag. Furthermore, he noted that India has weathered previous Gulf crises with minimal repercussions due to adept diplomacy.
Yadav did not hold back in criticizing the opposition, particularly Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing them of undermining democratic values and not engaging in meaningful parliamentary discussions.
He claimed that Congress representatives were often absent during crucial Lok Sabha debates and chose to travel abroad amid national crises.
Paying homage to the late former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna recipient Atal Bihari Vajpayee as a model Leader of the Opposition, Yadav stated that the current opposition is failing to contribute positively to parliamentary democracy. He expressed confidence that the BJP would continue to thrive politically as long as Congress remains under its present leadership.
Emphasizing the welfare programs launched in Madhya Pradesh, Yadav proclaimed this year as the "Year of Farmers’ Welfare".
He mentioned that development initiatives valued at approximately Rs 1,100 crore have been initiated in Burhanpur alone, with these projects poised to create thousands of job opportunities.
Among the welfare schemes highlighted were the Ladli Behna Yojana, which provides monthly financial aid to women, including those in the Nepanagar Assembly constituency.
Additionally, he referenced the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi program that offers direct income support to farmers, the Ayushman Bharat scheme providing health coverage of up to Rs 5 lakh per family, and educational incentives such as uniforms, bicycles, laptops, and scooters for students.
Yadav also spoke about the newly launched Mata Yashoda milk scheme aimed at enhancing nutrition for schoolchildren and boosting dairy production.
Moreover, he introduced the Rahgir scheme, which rewards Good Samaritans who transport accident victims to hospitals with Rs 5,000, while the government covers their medical expenses.
These initiatives, according to the Chief Minister, highlight the state government's commitment to inclusive growth and welfare measures targeted at farmers, women, youth, and economically disadvantaged communities.
