Bhopal, Nov 5 (NationPress) A team from the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) led by Chairman Rajeshlal Mehra had an important meeting with Governor Mangubhai Patel at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.
During this meeting, the team presented the 68th annual report of the MPPSC to Governor Patel and informed him about other significant developments.
Chairman Rajeshlal Mehra conveyed to the Governor that the Commission has released a total of 71 recruitment notifications for 5,581 positions across various state government departments for the year 2024-25.
The Commission also conducted examinations for the State Service and State Forest Service for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025, covering both preliminary and main stages.
Moreover, the Commission organized a two-tier examination process and the State Eligibility Test (SET). It was shared that a total of 6,260 candidates were called for interviews for various departmental positions for 2024-25.
Additionally, the Commission has made recommendations for 1,479 selected candidates to the state government. Mehra emphasized that the Commission is implementing several innovations to enhance quality and ensure transparency.
According to a press note from the Governor's office, an e-newsletter named ‘Samvadiya’ has been launched to provide candidates with valuable information regarding the Commission’s activities.
Furthermore, a Subject Expert Portal has been established to invite specialists for confidential work related to recruitment examinations.
In a further step towards efficiency, the evaluation of answer sheets for the main examinations of the state service is now performed through on-screen marking after scanning, ensuring improved accuracy and efficiency.
