Bhubaneswar, April 20 (NationPress) President Droupadi Murmu is set to inaugurate a tribal museum, a planetarium, and a science center during her one-day visit to Odisha on April 21, as reported by an official.

The President's Secretariat has confirmed that Murmu will officially launch the planetarium, science center, and the Nirmal Munda Parivesh Path at a public gathering in Rourkela.

Additionally, she will open a tribal museum and an Integrated Command and Control Centre in Rourkela.

In light of her visit, extensive security measures have been put in place at all locations included in the President's agenda.

Odisha's Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with other senior officials, are anticipated to engage with President Murmu during her time in the state.

Earlier this year, in February, President Murmu visited her native state for six days.

During that visit, she prayed at the historic 13th-century Biraja Temple in Jajpur and participated in various rituals at Nabhi Gaya.

She attended a special event at the Jagannath Temple in Rairangpur and later toured the Simlipal Wildlife Sanctuary.

On the following day, she interacted directly with women and youth from tribal communities at Simlipal, which is renowned for its rich biodiversity and tribal heritage.

To wrap up her visit, President Murmu will participate in the 'Black Swan Summit, India' in Bhubaneswar, an event organized by the Odisha government in collaboration with the Global Finance and Technology Network.

President Murmu will conclude her visit by heading to Chhattisgarh, where she will inaugurate the 'Bastar Pandum 2026' festival in Jagdalpur.
