Mumbai, Feb 28 (NationPress) Actor Nandish Sandhu, who is set to portray Professor Dhar in the series “Ziddi Girls”, expresses his firm belief in the idea that “real answers often lie in the grey.”
In “Ziddi Girls”, Nandish embodies Professor Dhar, a guide who refrains from imposing his beliefs and instead motivates students to think independently. He advocates for the significance of stories, dialogues, and introspection over merely providing answers. His relationship with the students is rooted in mutual respect rather than a strict hierarchy.
Regarding his character, Nandish reveals that “There are many facets of Professor Dhar that resonate with me, some even more profoundly.”
What he admires most about his character is that Professor Dhar “never forces his views” onto his students.
“He is not the type of professor who spoon-feeds answers; instead, he presents scenarios or shares stories, allowing students to draw their own conclusions. He ignites curiosity, offers material for contemplation, and trusts them to process it at their own pace,” he elaborated.
The actor further stated, “As the wise often say, life is not merely black and white; the true answers usually exist in the grey. This philosophy resonates with me, as it does with Professor Dhar.”
Nandish began his acting career with the television series Kasturi, where he portrayed Raunak. His significant breakthrough came in 2009 with the role of Veer Singh Bundela opposite Tina Dutta in Uttaran.
In 2012, he featured in Phir Subah Hogi, and two years later, he appeared in Beintehaa.
In 2015, he took part in the stunt-action series Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6 and reached the semifinals. He wed his Uttaran co-star Rashami Desai in 2012 in Dholpur, but they announced their separation in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2015.
In 2019, Sandhu was cast alongside Hrithik Roshan in the biographical film Super 30, playing Pranav Kumar, the brother of Anand Kumar. He also appeared in the 2019 film Family of Thakurganj, directed by Manoj Jha and penned by Dilip Shukla.
