In her recent post, she conveyed that her role as Heer significantly influenced her both personally and professionally. Nargis articulated that her character Heer resonated deeply with her own feelings, indicating that portraying Heer has profoundly shaped her identity and outlook. Even after 14 years, she senses parts of Heer within herself, emphasizing how the role has played a crucial role in her emotional development and continues to echo in her daily existence.

Alongside a behind-the-scenes video featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Nargis Fakhri stated, “Rockstar wasn’t merely a film — it was a transformative journey that altered my life entirely. “Rockstar,” penned and directed by Imtiaz Ali, featured Ranbir Kapoor in the principal role. The film also showcased Aditi Rao Hydari, Piyush Mishra, Shernaz Patel, Kumud Mishra, Sanjana Sanghi, Aakash Dahiya, and Shammi Kapoor in supporting roles. It notably marked the posthumous appearance of Shammi Kapoor, following his passing on 14 August 2011.

Earlier in March, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali hinted at the potential for a “Rockstar” sequel. During his guest appearance on Komal Nahta's podcast Game Changers, the director expressed his openness to the concept. He remarked, “Never say never. It's possible that an idea might come to me, and I feel that this story, as Rockstar Part 2 or a Rockstar thought, could be appealing. Sometimes, a wild notion about Rockstar might emerge.”
