New Delhi, Nov 28 (NationPress) The Vice Chairperson of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), Kuljeet Singh Chahal, officially launched two new Aerobins on Friday, which can handle around 12–15 kg of wet waste each day.
During the inauguration, Chahal underscored the NDMC's commitment to decentralized waste management, stating: "Each Aerobin boasts a 400-litre capacity, facilitating the scientific processing of biodegradable waste directly at the source, thus reducing the need for transportation and alleviating pressure on central waste processing facilities."
The unveiling took place at the Palika Services Officers' Institute Club, conveniently located near Nehru Park, as reported in an official statement.
