Mumbai, Aug 18 (NationPress) Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced on Monday that the development of a 'Third Mumbai' in Raigad district marks the beginning of a new era in economic growth.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the state government is dedicated to progress and is collaborating with the private sector to establish 'Third Mumbai'. This new district will feature an international university center.
“Additionally, a medical college and an innovation hub will be developed here, equipped with comprehensive research facilities. This hub will focus on groundbreaking areas such as quantum computing and AI-based systems. 'Third Mumbai' will be well-connected to the existing Mumbai through several projects, including the Coastal Road and Atal Setu, along with a link road from Worli to Shivadi currently under construction. This initiative is set to enhance the development of Mumbai significantly. The Chief Minister encouraged private investors to take the lead in investing in this vital sector, emphasizing that successful development hinges on collaboration between private entities and the government.
