The launch took place at an extravagant event in Chennai.
This melodious track, composed by M M Keeravani, features lyrics in Telugu crafted by Sri Harsha Emani. The Tamil version's lyrics were penned by Pa Vijay, while the Hindi adaptation was written by Abbas Tyrewala.
After more than five years in production, the film is set for release on June 12.
In an earlier discussion with IANS, director Jothikrishna revealed that the film was shot over a span of 200 days. The film stars Pawan Kalyan as the protagonist, Nidhi Aggarwal as the female lead, and Bollywood actor Bobby Deol as Aurangazeb.
Describing the film's narrative, Jothikrishna stated, "This story is set in the 16th century. Bobby Deol portrays Aurangazeb. It revolves around events during the Mughal era, focusing on a lesser-known incident from that time. The film blends both fact and fiction, showcasing Pawan Kalyan in a Robinhood-like role as a thief."
Originally initiated in 2020, the film's production faced numerous challenges. Jothikrishna explained his transition to directing, citing delays caused by Covid and subsequent commitments of Krish Jagarlamudi. "The original script was expansive, and since it is a period piece, we decided to release it in parts. I completely rewrote Part I and directed this film," he elaborated.
The first installment, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 Sword Vs Spirit', is scheduled to premiere on June 12. The filmmakers also plan a sequel, with already 10% of the second part filmed.
Cinematography is handled by Manoj Paramahamsa and Gnanashekar V.S., with production design by Thota Tharani and editing by K L Praveen, a National Award winner.
Besides Pawan Kalyan, Nidhi Aggarwal, and Bobby Deol, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' also features a talented ensemble including Nassar, Sathyaraj, Thalaivasal Vijay, Raghu Babu, Subbaraju, and Sunil.
