Mumbai, April 21 (NationPress) A well-known figure in Indian television, Pooja Banerjee is preparing to welcome her second child into the world.
In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Pooja expressed that she is experiencing a unique form of motherhood this time around.
When asked about her second pregnancy, she mentioned to IANS, "It feels like 24 hours are insufficient this time. My hands are incredibly full, even when I’m away from Mumbai or taking a break from my acting career, time just slips away. I’m completely engrossed with Sana, her activities, and my studio responsibilities that I genuinely question where my time vanishes. It can become a bit exhausting after a while since I’ve been traveling extensively during this pregnancy. Nevertheless, I’m relishing a different kind of motherhood for the second time and I’m excited about sharing stories with my children."
Pooja revealed that she had always wished to provide her first child with a sibling, believing it to be the greatest gift a parent can give. "Fortunately, Sandeep (her husband) shares the same sentiment. Growing up with two brothers, I understand the value of having a sibling," she shared.
When asked about her anticipated return to the screen after giving birth, she responded, "Absolutely. It all hinges on my health and the needs of my child. I wouldn't want to push myself too hard. I’ll take it slow and see what opportunities arise."
Discussing her transition to New Delhi, the actress remarked, "It’s obviously different from Mumbai. Here, it’s a joint family system, so numerous relatives help with the kids, and there are always various celebrations taking place. But more than anything, I appreciate the extra space available here compared to Mumbai."
Revealing her intentions regarding a return to Mumbai, Pooja shared, "I do miss Mumbai, but it's more about missing being in front of the camera and acting. I don't particularly miss the traffic, the hustle, or the congestion. I’m genuinely happy to provide my child with a larger space to grow, play, and learn."
