While addressing a special lecture on the “Union Budget 2026” organized by the Kalyana Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kalaburagi, Joshi emphasized that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is unwavering in its commitment to safeguard the nation’s interests while making policy choices.
He noted that India is forging trade agreements with various nations, including the United States, but accused the Opposition of attempting to “create issues where none exist.”
Joshi reaffirmed that the Central government has continually shown dedication to protecting the interests of farmers. He mentioned that the Free Trade Agreement and the trade pact with the United States would enhance India’s agriculture, manufacturing, and technology sectors.
He characterized the Union Budget 2026 as focused on the people, oriented towards the youth, and reflective of the vision of a developed India. He stated that the budget is powered by the youth and illustrates India’s rising prominence on the global landscape under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Joshi pointed out key initiatives like the India AI Mission, the India Semiconductor Mission, and various startup support programs, all of which offer considerable opportunities for the younger generation to innovate and manufacture domestically.
He further added that central schemes aimed at industrial development, such as PM MITRA Parks and other industrial and regional growth initiatives, would significantly propel economic progress.
Present at the event were Kalyana Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Sharanabasappa M. Papp, Secretary Shivaraj V. Inginashetti, former MLC Amarnath N. Patil, Shashikant B. Patil, chamber office-bearers, industrialists, and various dignitaries.
