"This system is likely to intensify into a deep depression within the next two to three days. Consequently, we might see rainfall at the onset of Durga Puja festivities. If the current atmospheric conditions persist, heavy rain is expected to start from Chaturthi (September 25) and will likely intensify from September 30 to October 2, coinciding with Ashtami to Dashami, which are the key Puja days," stated a senior official from the Meteorological Department.
