Jaipur, April 25 (NationPress) A statewide shutdown in Rajasthan on Friday was organized to express outrage against the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, garnering significant support.

Demonstrations erupted in various regions of the state, with protestors chanting vehemently against Pakistan.

In reaction to the terror incident that resulted in 26 fatalities, several Hindu organizations and community groups initiated a statewide bandh, which received extensive backing across numerous districts.

Markets in Sikar and Kota were completely closed, exhibiting strong participation in the bandh.

In Kota, members of Hindu organizations allegedly urged various offices to shut down.

In Sikar, multiple trade and social groups, including the Sikar Vyapar Sangh, expressed their support for the bandh.

While emergency services, health facilities, and petrol stations remained functional, police were stationed throughout major market areas.
