This effort aims to facilitate quick resolution of public complaints and promote easier access to essential civic services.
During a meeting held at his residence, the Chief Minister emphasized that this campaign will not only enhance the cleanliness, beauty, and safety of cities but also offer immediate solutions to citizens' challenges.
He instructed officials to approach this initiative with dedication and a service-oriented mindset, ensuring a noticeable impact in every city and town.
The Information and Technology Department is developing a dedicated portal to streamline operations, and a comprehensive guide will be provided for citizens, as stated by CM Sharma.
As part of the campaign, extensive cleanliness drives will be conducted, including repairs of drains and sewer lines, fixing manholes and ferro covers, and beautifying public spaces such as parks, intersections, and community centers.
Road maintenance will also take place, with patchwork and repairs to roads, and installation of new streetlights in poorly lit areas to enhance public safety, according to the Chief Minister.
This campaign will involve collaboration among various departments, including urban governance, social justice, public health engineering, energy, public works, revenue, women and child development, and health, ensuring expedited resolution of citizens' concerns.
The camp will provide fast access to services such as birth, death, and marriage registrations, fire no objection certificates (NoC), trade and signage licenses, sewer connections, mobile tower permits, economically weaker section certificates, lease conversions, land use change permissions, building construction approvals, and urban development tax payments.
Additionally, the initiative will connect eligible citizens with welfare schemes like the Atal Pension Yojana and social security pensions for the elderly, widows, and individuals with disabilities.
Enhancements will also be made in schools, Anganwadi centers, and other public buildings.
Originally scheduled from September 15 to October 2, the camp has now been extended to October 15.
Minister of State for Urban Development and Autonomous Governance (Independent Charge), Jhabar Singh Kharra, and senior officials from relevant departments were also present during this meeting.
