Jaipur, Feb 12 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma, announced on Wednesday that the state government is actively pursuing the implementation of the Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) established during the 'Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit' 2024, aiming to transform Rajasthan into a $350 billion economy.

The Chief Minister instructed officials to establish quarterly benchmarks to ensure effective on-ground execution of the MoUs. Implementation of these MoUs, valued at over Rs 1 lakh 66 thousand crore, has commenced, covering various sectors including energy, mining, urban development, industry, and agriculture.

A comprehensive three-tier system has been established to assess the progress of the MoUs signed during the investment summit. Within this framework, the Chief Minister is personally reviewing monthly progress reports for MoUs exceeding Rs 1,000 crore.

The Chief Minister emphasized that maintaining direct communication with investors is a priority for the state government to address their concerns effectively.

To support this initiative, the government is consistently updating progress information regarding the MoUs on the Investor Interface. Investors can monitor real-time advancements in the execution of their respective MoUs through this platform.

The Chief Minister instructed officials to promptly provide updates on MoU implementation to investors. He also urged them to accelerate the processing of land allotment and other crucial approvals related to the remaining MoUs.

Instructing officials to review land allotment cases on a weekly basis, the Chief Minister noted that the process for obtaining various land allotment concessions should be streamlined.

He reviewed the progress of MoUs that have already received land allocations, stating that other essential approvals for these projects should be expedited to enhance the MoUs' implementation.

Additionally, he directed officials to collaborate across departments to expedite the progress of MoUs that require approvals from multiple government entities.

Present at the meeting were Alok, Additional Chief Secretary of Energy; Shikhar Agrawal, Additional Chief Secretary of CMO; Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary of Industries & Commerce; Alok Gupta, Principal Secretary of CMO; and Dinesh Kumar, Principal Secretary of Revenue, along with other senior officials from the Government of Rajasthan.
