Jaipur, Aug 12 (NationPress) Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced that Rajasthan is emerging as a globally recognized business-friendly state, thanks to its strategic location, abundant mineral resources, robust energy capacity, and favorable investment policies.

During the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, which took place last year, MoUs worth ₹35 lakh crore were signed. The successful execution of these agreements is expected to enhance infrastructure development and create substantial job opportunities in the region.

While reviewing the status of these MoUs at his residence on Tuesday, Sharma emphasized that the summit represented not just a one-time event but an integral part of a continuous development strategy. He underscored the state's commitment to encouraging investment, fostering innovation, and promoting inclusive growth.

The Chief Minister urged officials to accelerate all activities related to the MoUs, including land allocation, ensuring that projects commence without delay. If preferred land sites are unavailable, suitable alternatives should be provided to potential investors.

Sharma highlighted that every MoU, whether large or small, significantly contributes to economic growth. Smaller investments at the district level can create significant local employment opportunities and serve as a foundation for larger initiatives.

He instructed district collectors to consistently monitor progress and maintain ongoing communication with investors, conducting regular review meetings.

By emphasizing mining and tourism as the dual engines of Rajasthan's growth, the Chief Minister called for the exploration of new opportunities in these sectors. He directed the organization of pre-summits focusing on mining, petrochemicals, and tourism ahead of the forthcoming Rising Rajasthan Partnership Conclave in December.

A comprehensive mineral survey should be conducted to identify resources throughout the state. Sharma noted that Rajasthan is rapidly progressing in tourism, attracting visitors globally to its magnificent palaces, forts, and havelis.

He mentioned the invaluable heritage of the Shekhawati havelis, which must be preserved and developed from a tourism perspective to further enhance the sector.

Preparations for the Rising Rajasthan Partnership Conclave-2025, scheduled for December in Jaipur, were also reviewed.

Officials informed the Chief Minister that the event will showcase transformations in the state's industrial and economic landscape following the MoU implementations. The conclave aims to establish investment partnerships at international, governmental, and multilateral levels.

The Chief Minister instructed that special sessions focusing on youth, women, and farmers be included, and an exhibition on One District, One Product be organized alongside the event. Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant, senior departmental officials, and various district collectors (via VC) attended the meeting.
