Mumbai, Jan 20 (NationPress) The talented Bollywood actress Rasika Dugal celebrated her birthday on January 17, surrounded by her dear ones in a delightful atmosphere filled with balloons, flowers, cozy pajamas, and freshly baked bread.

Sharing a few snapshots from her relaxed birthday gathering, Rasika expressed on her IG, "The joy of all things purple, a pair of comfy pajamas... a freshly baked (and incredibly delicious) Shepu (Dill) bread crafted by @bombayhowrahdiningcar, a balloon with the biggest heart @aartimenon, friends visiting when they could, and so many treats and well-wishes from everywhere. Thank you everyone. It was a leisurely birthday. Just as I wished it to be." (sic)

She humorously added at the end of her post that her Spotify playlist might soon label her as 85.

On the work front, Rasika is set to appear in the film adaptation of the popular series, “Mirzapur”. This movie reunites the original cast of the show, including Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyendu Sharma, Abhishek Banerjee, Shweta Tripathi, and Shriya Pilgaonkar, among others.

Directed by Gurmeet Singh, this drama is produced by Excel Entertainment.

“Mirzapur” tells the story of Akhandanand “Kaleen” Tripathi (played by Pankaj Tripathi), a crime lord and businessman, who is the de facto ruler of the Mirzapur district.

The first season of the series featured significant roles from Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Gaur, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda, while the second season did not include Vikrant and Shriya.

Additional cast members for the subsequent seasons included Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Lilliput, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Anangsha Biswas, and Neha Sargam.

Since the filming of the movie began, the cast has been sharing exciting glimpses from the set, generating even more anticipation for this already highly awaited film.
