Key Takeaways
Gorakhpur, Nov 1 (NationPress) BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan addressed a death threat he allegedly received following his campaign speeches in Bihar over the weekend.
He remarked, “Jekar Nath Bholenath, U Anath Kaise Hoyi” (One who has Lord Shiva as his protector can never be abandoned).
In an interview with IANS, Ravi Kishan stated, “Our adversaries are experiencing defeat, and this is a manifestation of their frustration. They have even insulted me and my mother. Through your platform, I want to assure them that I will continue my campaign in Bihar. They can threaten me, but they will not weaken my determination.”
Reaffirming his confidence in the NDA's success, Kishan continued, “Jekar Nath Bholenath, U Anath Kaise Hoyi. On November 14, the NDA will reclaim power, and Nitish Kumar will be Chief Minister once more. I promise you, our triumph will be monumental.”
In the meantime, the police in Gorakhpur have filed an FIR after the MP reported receiving threatening and abusive phone calls. According to officials, the complaint at Ramgarh Taal Police Station indicated that the caller used offensive language directed at Kishan's family and religious beliefs during his Bihar campaign.
On October 31, in a post on the social media platform X, Ravi Kishan detailed the threats he faced.
“I recently received abusive calls that not only insulted me but also my mother. I was threatened with death, and offensive remarks were made against Lord Shri Ram. This is not merely an attack on my personal dignity but also on our faith and Indian culture. Such actions are attempts to incite hatred and turmoil, and they will be met with democratic and ideological strength,” he wrote.
Reiterating his dedication to public service, Kishan stated, “For me, pursuing the path of nationalism and righteousness is not a political tactic — it is a lifelong commitment. I will persist in this journey, regardless of the challenges. This battle is about safeguarding self-respect, faith, and duty, and I will remain steadfast until the end.”
