Mumbai, Sep 23 (NationPress) Actress Salma Hayek offered a glimpse into her daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault’s birthday festivities, and it was nothing less than extraordinary.

Hayek took to Instagram, sharing a series of images and clips from Valentina’s 18th birthday, captioning: “We feasted, we celebrated, we shared laughter, we embraced love... and we extended the celebration throughout the weekend. Happy birthday mi cielo, moments spent celebrating you are always too brief.”

On September 22, Salma expressed her affection for her daughter with a heartfelt message on Instagram. The emotional note reflected on the many changes in her life, yet emphasized that Valentina remains true to herself.

She wrote: “My gorgeous dancing queen. Today you turn 18!!!!! So much has evolved in your life, but you are forever sooooo you. A compassionate heart, a wise soul rich with magic, a rare and unstoppable force of nature with a clever sense of humor and resolute determination.”

The actress continued: “Some aspects will remain constant; we will love you eternally, and even though you have always been beyond your years, you will forever reside in my heart, my dream daughter. Feliz cumpleaños Valentina Paloma.”

In 2007, Hayek confirmed her engagement to French billionaire François-Henri Pinault alongside the news of her pregnancy. Their daughter was born on September 21, 2007.

The couple wed on Valentine's Day in 2009 in Paris, and later renewed their vows in Venice, Italy on April 25, 2009.

Hayek started her career in Mexico, starring in the telenovela Teresa and the romantic drama Midaq Alley. She quickly made her mark in Hollywood with roles in films such as Desperado, From Dusk till Dawn, Wild Wild West, and Dogma.

Her performance as painter Frida Kahlo in the biopic Frida made her the first Mexican actress nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress.
