The filming of this drama, which was created by Samantha's husband, Raj Nidimoru, has already wrapped up.
Notably, Samantha has performed the majority of the action sequences herself, even while dressed in a saree, marking 'Maa Inti Bangaram' as one of her most challenging and defining roles.
A source close to the production revealed, “After ‘The Family Man’ and ‘Citadel’, Samantha sought to push her limits. In 'Maa Inti Bangaram', she’s undertaking most of the action herself, all while wearing a saree. It’s a physically demanding role that offers a unique visual spectacle rarely witnessed on screen.”
The film is being produced by Samantha under her own banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, alongside Raj Nidimoru and Himank Duvurruu.
Regarding the film, producer Himank Duvvuru stated, “‘Maa Inti Bangaram’ is envisioned as a narrative deeply rooted in emotion and values but delivered with the scale and vigor of an authentic action spectacle. Samantha’s commitment to performing most of the action herself while in a saree adds a layer of powerful authenticity to the film. We’ve made a deliberate choice to collaborate with world-class technicians to ensure our vision is executed with global excellence while remaining firmly Indian at heart.”
