Chennai, Feb 19 (NationPress) Renowned Tamil film actor and political figure Sarath Kumar has extended his congratulations to the crew behind the Hindi film, ‘Chhaava’, which tells the story of Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

On his X timeline, Sarath Kumar expressed, “On the occasion of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's birthday, I witnessed the bravery and sacrifice of Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in #Chhaava. Themes of patriotism, courage, and the pursuit of swaraj stirred deep emotions. Hats off to the producer, director, and the entire team of #Chhaava.”

Sarath Kumar's commendation comes shortly after Telugu actor Allu Sirish also praised the film.

Allu Sirish, the sibling of popular Telugu star Allu Arjun, described director Laxman Utekar’s historical piece, ‘Chhaava’, as a ‘mind-blowing film’.

Sirish emphasized that although NCERT textbooks may lack information on esteemed Indian kings, cinema is helping to educate the public about them.
