Lahore, July 8 (NationPress) Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan and fast bowler Haris Rauf have been excluded from the 15-member roster for the upcoming Bangladesh T20I series due to injuries.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the squad on Tuesday, with Salman Ali Agha continuing as captain for the T20 matches. The three-match series against Bangladesh will take place from July 20 to 24 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
Vice-captain Shadab recently had successful surgery on his right shoulder in the UK, resolving an issue that had plagued him for some time.
On the other hand, Rauf is sidelined after incurring a Grade 1 hamstring injury during the recent victory of the San Francisco Unicorns against the Texas Super Kings in the 2025 Major League Cricket (MLC) season.
With Rauf out, pacer Salman Mirza has been called up to the national team. Mirza showed impressive form during PSL Season 9 with the Lahore Qalandars, claiming nine wickets in four matches at an average of 15.00 and an economy rate of 9.64.
The Pakistan team is scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on July 16, with the T20I series commencing on July 20. The second and third matches will be held on July 22 and 24, respectively.
The two teams last met in May, when Pakistan achieved a 3-0 series sweep at home.
Following the series against Bangladesh, Pakistan will travel to the West Indies for a white-ball series that includes three T20Is and three ODIs, starting from August 1.
