Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Feb 28 (NationPress) Shivaleeka Oberoi referred to her pregnancy as a “co-production” alongside her husband Abhishek Pathak. While her filmmaker spouse is engaged in the third installment of “Drishyam” featuring Ajay Devgn, Shivaleeka is dedicating her time to preparing for motherhood.
On Saturday, Shivaleeka showcased a series of images from her recent maternity shoot with Abhishek on Instagram. She humorously termed their journey a joint venture, stating that “deals were made” between them.
“Think of it as a co-production. He’s busy crafting thrillers, while I’m busy creating a human. Deals were made,” she captioned the post.
As Abhishek works on “Drishyam 3” during her pregnancy, Shivaleeka has made it a point to capture their experience through maternity photographs.
“He films #Drishyam3 while I’m pregnant, and I get to take as many #Maternity photos as I desire. Both productions are thriving!” she added.
Shivaleeka and Abhishek first crossed paths during the filming of the 2020 Vidyut Jammwal movie “Khuda Hafiz,” which narrates the tale of Sameer, a man whose life is disrupted when his wife is abducted by human traffickers.
The couple got engaged in July 2022 and celebrated their wedding in February 2023.
Shivaleeka debuted in acting with the 2019 film “Yeh Saali Aashiqui” and gained recognition for “Khuda Haafiz” in 2020. Her latest appearance was in “Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha” in 2022, where she reprised her role alongside Vidyut.
Abhishek, on the other hand, directed “Drishyam 2”, featuring a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna. He has also directed films like Udta Chaman and produced titles such as Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Section 375, and Khuda Haafiz.
Regarding Drishyam 3, the production team commenced shooting in Goa in December, with actor Jaideep Ahlawat joining the franchise.
The Drishyam series revolves around a family ensnared in a harrowing mystery involving a policewoman’s missing son, leading to dire consequences for Vijay and his loved ones.
Seven years later, in the sequel, the Salgaonkars have attempted to move forward from their past traumas, but unforeseen events threaten to reveal dark secrets.
The film serves as a Hindi adaptation of the acclaimed Malayalam film of the same name.
