Mumbai, Nov 3 (NationPress) Actor Sunny Kaushal took to his social media platform to mark his mother’s special day. Sharing an endearing video of himself performing the 'Happy Birthday' song using a karaoke speaker, Sunny captioned it with a sweet message: "Happy birthday to you, Maa."

His mother was seen laughing joyfully as her son sang the birthday tune in a humorous manner. Additionally, Bollywood actor and Sunny's elder brother Vicky Kaushal also posted a heartfelt picture on his social media to celebrate their mother’s birthday. Embracing his mother in a beautiful photo, Vicky wrote, "Happy Birthday, Maate." Mrs. Kaushal looked extremely delighted as she posed with her son.

On the topic of Sunny Kaushal, the actor recently released his Punjabi rap titled “Mid Air Freeverse”. He revealed that his journey into rap was inspired by none other than Eminem, often hailed as the Rap God. A few months back, Sunny shared how he conceived the idea for the song while flying from Delhi to Mumbai. He recounted, "I was running late to the airport and missed my coffee. Once I boarded the plane, I asked the flight attendant for a cup of coffee and ended up burning my tongue. That’s how the opening line of the song came to be."

With a pen and paper in hand, Sunny crafted the lyrics during a flight lasting over two hours. His venture into music began earlier as he stated, "I started writing during the pandemic. It became a creative outlet as film shoots were paused for extended periods. It arose from my need to express myself creatively." Realizing that writing was a natural talent, Sunny committed to learning the craft. "I began to understand techniques and various ways to structure my words and time my rap delivery. I started watching YouTube tutorials to enhance my rhyme skills," he said.

Sunny also mentioned that his musical inspirations range from Eminem and Bohemia to Karan Aujla. "My introduction to rap was through Eminem. 'Lose Yourself' was my first hip-hop track. Then Bohemia amazed me by bringing rap into Punjabi music," Sunny explained, adding, "I create music in my spare time. For me, poetry serves as a means of journaling my feelings."

Sunny Kaushal began his career in the film industry working behind the scenes as an assistant director on projects such as "My Friend Pinto" and "Gunday". He made his acting debut in the 2016 comedy-drama "Sunshine Music Tours and Travels", but it was his performance in the sports biopic "Gold" that earned him significant recognition.

Since then, Sunny has starred in various projects including the web series “The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye” and films like “Shiddat”, “Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga”, and “Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba”.
