Chennai, Nov 14 (NationPress) Esteemed director Suresh Krissna, who has helmed the spiritual feature film 'Anantha', recently revealed that he experienced a series of miracles throughout the entire shooting process.
For those unfamiliar, 'Anantha' is an upcoming spiritual feature film directed by Suresh Krissna and produced by Girish Krishnamurthy, featuring prominent actors Jagapathi Babu and Suhasini Maniratnam in leading roles.
During the film's recent music launch, director Suresh Krissna expressed, “I am overwhelmed with joy today. My sincere gratitude to Girish for making this vision a reality. I have directed numerous commercial films, but when I was asked to create a film about Sai Baba that also appeals commercially, I viewed it as a divine challenge.”
The director then shared an astonishing miracle from 2009.
“A friend of mine, eager to create a biopic on Baba, took me to Puttaparthi. When I stood before Baba, he gazed at me and said in Telugu, ‘Where have you been all these years?’ which made me emotional. Two years later, Baba attained samadhi. Time went by, and one morning, I dreamt of Baba. That same day, my friend mentioned they were discussing making a film about Baba with me,” Suresh Krissna recounted.
He further noted that shortly thereafter, producer Girish approached him with the idea of creating a film that devotees worldwide would celebrate — even attracting those unfamiliar with Baba.
“I requested three days for contemplation. However, the following day at 3 AM, inspiration hit me. Within an hour, the entire narrative unfolded as if Baba himself was scripting it. The film encompasses many real-life stories where Baba’s miracles and presence are vividly felt. Deva sir composed a song for the film in just ten minutes — a testament to divine grace! Each shooting day, we encountered miracle after miracle. I was fortunate to be surrounded by a dedicated team. I genuinely believe 'Anantha' will resonate with every viewer’s heart,” he shared, filled with optimism.
The film's music is composed by Deva, and the grand audio and teaser launch recently took place in Chennai with the full cast and crew in attendance.
