Chennai, Aug 13 (NationPress) Actress Madhushalini, renowned for her work in both Tamil and Telugu cinema, has embarked on a new journey as a producer with the Telugu film 'KanyaKumari', directed by Srujan Attada and starring Geeth Saini and Sricharan Rachakonda.
In an exclusive interview with IANS, she shared her experiences in the industry, highlighting her impressive performances in Bala's 'Avan Ivan' and the Kamal Haasan film 'Thoongavanam'. Now, she balances her roles as an actress while stepping into production.
"I am currently in the midst of producing a Hindi feature, a science fiction film that is yet unnamed. Although that project marks my entry into production, 'Kanya Kumari' will be my debut as a producer since it is set to release first," she explained.
When asked about her motivation to produce, she chuckled, "I was searching for compelling scripts for myself when I realized there are numerous stories awaiting to be told. I felt compelled to share these narratives, and upon discovering this charming story, I decided to contribute to its realization."
What drew her to 'Kanya Kumari'? She responded, "It is a deeply rooted love story about a boy and a girl with their own aspirations. Many young women will identify with this tale. The support of family and friends can greatly influence one’s journey toward their goals. However, the absence of such support can lead to significant challenges."
Written, directed, and produced by Srujan Attada under the Radical Pictures banner, this film features Geeth Saini and Sricharan Rachakonda in lead roles.
The film is slated for a grand theatrical release on August 27th, coinciding with Vinayaka Chathurthi.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Srikakulam, this heartwarming story boasts music by Ravi Nidamarthy, cinematography by Shiva Gajula and Hari Charan, and editing by Naresh Adupa.
