The Chief Minister noted that the structure, comprising a ground floor and 14 additional stories, is anticipated to be completed by 2026, consolidating all government offices under a single roof.

“This monumental building is being constructed with cutting-edge technology from California, with an initial budget of approximately Rs 133.89 crore,” he shared, indicating that it is being erected on roughly one acre of land.

CM Saha emphasized the current BJP government's commitment to prioritizing infrastructure development in the state.

“Our aim is to facilitate easy access to various essential government services under one roof. Importantly, this building is being constructed utilizing earthquake-resistant technology,” he added.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister was accompanied by Public Works Department Secretary Kiran Gitte and several senior administration officials.

In a separate event, the Chief Minister inaugurated mid-day meal services for patients’ families at Agartala Government Medical College and GB Pant Hospital for just Rs 10.
