Jerusalem, April 27 (NationPress) – In a tragic incident, two Israeli soldiers lost their lives in the northern Gaza Strip, as reported by both the Israel Defense Forces and the Israel Police. The fallen soldiers were identified as Ido Voloch, aged 21, an officer and platoon commander in the armored corps, and Neta Yitzhak Kahana, aged 19, an undercover officer in the Border Police.
According to reports from Israel's state-owned Kan TV News, a Border Police ambush unit confronted a group of militants in the Shajaiyah neighborhood of eastern Gaza City, resulting in Kahana's death during the fierce clash on Friday.
