Jerusalem, Sep 8 (NationPress) A tragic shooting at the Ramot Junction in Jerusalem on Monday resulted in the deaths of five individuals, according to reports from local media citing first responders.
The Magen David Adom (MDA) ambulance service indicated that four victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while a fifth passed away shortly after reaching the hospital.
As per the MDA, at least seven others sustained serious injuries, two were moderately injured, and three suffered minor injuries.
Reports from The Times of Israel state that the two assailants behind the attack were shot by a soldier and a young armed Haredi man. Police confirmed that 'a security officer and a civilian present at the location opened fire on the assailants, effectively neutralizing them.'
