During a function commemorating Janjatiya Gaurav Divas held at the Khumpui Academy in the headquarters of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) in Khumulwng, the Chief Minister stated that the progress of the state cannot be achieved without the upliftment of the janajati community.
The BJP government is devoted to their welfare, following the vision laid out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Saha noted.
"Thanks to Prime Minister Modi, we are becoming more aware of tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda," he mentioned, adding that PM Modi declared the celebration of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas on November 15 each year to honor the contributions of the janajati community in India's independence movement.
