In a separate message on X, he stated, "The esteemed Prime Minister Shri @narendramodiji's visit to Adi Kailash and his guidance have bestowed a new identity upon this region. Three years ago, fewer than 2,000 tourists visited here, but today, that number has surged to over 30,000."
Commenting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recognition of the increase in winter tourism in Uttarakhand, CM Dhami said, "This remarkable growth in the tourism sector has generated new employment opportunities for local residents. Families that had previously migrated are now returning to their villages."
The recently organized High-Altitude Ultra Marathon has also contributed to the rising popularity of this area, attracting over 750 athletes from 18 states, he mentioned.
