Suriya's upcoming Tamil entertainer 'Vishwanath & Sons', directed by Venky Atluri, has completed its final sound mixing and is now fully ready for theatrical release, the production announced on 12 August. The film is slated to hit screens on 14 August, just ahead of Independence Day.

Sound Mix Completion Announced

Sound Vibe Studios, which handled the film's audio post-production, confirmed the wrap on its social media channels. The studio wrote: 'LOCKED & LOADED. That's a Wrap in Sound Mix. Once again, we're happy to work with our director @venky_atluri Garu. Starring 'THE ONE' @actorsuriya. A @gvprakash Musical. Sound Mix.'

The announcement signals that the technical work on the film is complete, clearing the path for its 14 August 2025 theatrical debut.

Suriya's Words at the Audio Launch

At the film's audio launch event held recently in Coimbatore, Suriya spoke with evident enthusiasm about the project, saying he had already watched the finished film and was thoroughly satisfied with how it had shaped up.

Crediting the director, Suriya said: 'Venky Atluri said that he manifested working with me. I think I was the one who manifested. I loved your film Lucky Bhaskar.'

He added: 'Different directors have given me different identities. For me, Vishwanath and Sons will be another new identity. And it is Venky who has given me this identity. It has been a very long time since I did such a character.'

Suriya further described the film's emotional register: 'I have so much respect for his writing. There are three women characters in this film and he has written those characters so beautifully. This film will talk beautifully about relationships. When you watch this film, you will have a smile on your lips all through. This film will talk about family, romance, there will be comedy throughout and the elevation that the hero's character receives will not come down at all. This will be a wholesome entertainer. This is a film for the fans and the families of fans.'

The film features Mamitha Baiju as the female lead alongside Suriya, with veteran actress Radhika Sarathkumar in a pivotal role. National Award-winning composer G. V. Prakash Kumar has scored the music, while cinematography is by Nimish Ravi. Editing has been handled by Navin Nooli and production design by Banglan.

The film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya.
