Mumbai, May 16 (NationPress) India and Mumbai teammate Suryakumar Yadav extended his congratulations to fellow cricketer Rohit Sharma after the star batter was honored for his dedication with a stand dedicated to him at the legendary Wankhede Stadium on Friday. The Rohit Sharma Stand was inaugurated at the stadium on Friday evening, with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis present for the occasion.
Yadav, who plays alongside Rohit for the Mumbai Indians, declared that the epicenter of Indian cricket, Wankhede Stadium, has now become 'even more iconic.'
"Congratulations @rohitsharma45 on your remarkable achievements on the cricket field, from being a finisher to an opener and now our captain. You have inspired us all and brought pride in every role you play.
