New Delhi, March 23 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his sincere wishes to the citizens of India on the fifth day of Chaitra Navaratri, a day dedicated to Goddess Skandamata.

In a message shared on X, PM Modi expressed, "I offer my heartfelt prayers to Maa Skandamata! May her compassionate love and blessings shine brightly in everyone’s life."

He added, "Devotion to Mother Ambe fills the heart with profound joy. It brings unlimited tranquility and spiritual fortitude," while sharing a devotional song titled Chottanikkara Amme Jagathambike, performed by Ganesh Sundaram.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also took to X to extend his greetings on this sacred occasion.

"May the maternal love or 'Vatsalya' of Mother Skandamata, the fifth form of Goddess Durga, always bless the entire universe. I pray for prosperity, peace, happiness, and good fortune to flourish in all directions," stated the Chief Minister.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also shared warm wishes online, saying, "On this auspicious fifth day of Navratri, I humbly bow before Mother Skandamata, the essence of maternal care and tenderness."

"As the mother of Lord Kartikeya, this tranquil aspect of the Divine Mother opens the paths to liberation and offers supreme peace to her followers.
