Tarn Taran (Punjab), Jan 14 (NationPress) A 24-year-old individual from Sabhra village in Punjab's Tarn Taran district tragically lost his life due to a drug overdose on Tuesday. This marks the second such incident in the district within a week.

The family of the deceased voiced their worries regarding the escalating issue of drug addiction in their village.

The father of the young man, identified as Jagroop Singh Jagga, stated to the police that his son was only 24 years old.

Jagroop was employed at a private company and had come back to his hometown to celebrate Lohri, where he unfortunately injected the drug that led to his demise.
