In addition, Apple presented the new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, equipped with the revolutionary M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, which enhance performance and AI capabilities for professional users.
The M5 Pro and M5 Max chips introduce a new CPU featuring the fastest core in the world, a next-gen GPU with a Neural Accelerator in each core, and increased unified memory bandwidth, culminating in performance that is up to 4x faster for AI tasks compared to the previous generation and up to 8x faster compared to M1 models.
Furthermore, it offers up to 2x quicker SSD performance, starting with 1TB of storage for the M5 Pro and 2TB for the M5 Max. The new MacBook Pro also incorporates the Apple-designed N1 wireless chip, enabling Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 for enhanced wireless performance and reliability.
The MacBook Pro is available in space black and silver, with pre-orders commencing on March 4 and availability starting on March 11.
Apple also unveiled a new line of displays tailored to complement the Mac, catering to users from casual consumers to top-tier professionals.
The new Studio Display features a 12MP Center Stage camera with upgraded image quality and Desk View support; a studio-quality three-microphone array; and a six-speaker sound system with Spatial Audio for an immersive experience.
