Mumbai, July 25 (NationPress) Arkade Developers Ltd reported a net profit of Rs 28.75 crore for the first quarter of the current financial year (Q1 FY26), marking a decline of over 13 percent sequentially, according to a filing made to the exchange on Friday.
In the previous quarter (Q4 FY25), the real estate developer had achieved a consolidated profit of Rs 33.26 crore.
On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, the profit fell by more than 4 percent from Rs 30.21 crore in the same quarter last year (Q1 FY25).
The company's operational revenue for the reviewed quarter was Rs 159.4 crore, increasing by Rs 28 crore from Rs 131.44 crore in Q4 FY25 and Rs 34.06 crore from Rs 125.38 crore in Q1 FY25.
However, total expenses surged to Rs 127.34 crore during the April-June period, significantly affecting profitability.
The Board has proposed a first-time interim dividend of 10 percent, as noted in the filing.
In the prior quarter, the company had total expenses of Rs 88.76 crore, and Rs 84.76 crore in the same quarter the previous year.
“India remains one of the most promising major economies globally, supported by robust macroeconomic fundamentals and a rising aspirational middle class driving strong domestic demand,” stated Amit Jain, the Chairman and Managing Director of Arkade Developers Limited.
Previously, the firm had experienced a significant drop in both net profit and revenue in the fourth quarter (Q4) of FY25. The net profit of Rs 33.26 crore in Q4 represented a 33.58 percent decline from Rs 50.08 crore in Q3 FY25.
This downturn coincided with a sharp 41.96 percent drop in revenue from operations, which fell to Rs 134.34 crore from Rs 231.41 crore in Q3. Last fiscal year, the company made its stock market debut.
