Stanlow (UK), Oct 8 (NationPress) - Essar Energy Transition (EET), via its retail-oriented division Essar Energy Transition Retail (EET Retail), has struck a deal with Harvest Energy (Dealerships) Limited (Harvest) to manage fuel delivery to 47 forecourts.

As per this agreement, EET Retail will take on the responsibility of supplying all necessary fuels to 47 dealer-owned, dealer-operated (DODO) forecourts throughout the UK.

The company is actively engaging with the affected Harvest dealers, aiming to ensure security, continuity, and resilience in fuel supply for customers, particularly in light of the closure of the Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery.

Being one of just four UK refineries that manufacture and distribute fuel to UK forecourts, Essar Energy Transition will facilitate access to flexible and strategically positioned supply hubs across the UK, including the Stanlow refinery along with its terminals in Kingsbury, Northampton, Essex, and Grangemouth.

The collaboration with Harvest marks a significant advancement in EET Retail's long-term, partnership-driven strategy to build a substantial portfolio of Essar-branded fuel retail outlets and expand its presence nationwide, in line with its ambition to emerge as the UK’s “retailer of choice” for customers.

Arvan Ruia, Executive Director of EET Retail, commented, “This agreement signifies a key milestone in our EET Retail UK growth strategy, and we are excited to collaborate with dealers to create an enticing customer value proposition while fulfilling our commitment to ‘Driving Community Convenience’ to become the UK’s retailer of choice.”

Deepak Maheshwari, CEO of EET Fuels, stated, “During this period of supply uncertainty, EET Fuels is dedicated to ensuring resilience and continuity of supply to a greater number of UK customers through our robust manufacturing capabilities and extensive UK-wide distribution infrastructure.”
