New Delhi, July 31 (NationPress) Samsung India revealed that its latest offering, the ‘Made in India’ Galaxy Z Fold7, is unexpectedly gaining substantial traction not just from tier 3 markets but also from tier 4 and other regions. This shift comes amid a thriving economy and increasing aspirations nationwide.
“The remarkable demand has prompted us to distribute stocks of the Galaxy Z Fold7 into the deeper regions of Bharat. We are greatly encouraged by this emerging demand from tier 4 and beyond and will persist in serving these markets effectively,” expressed Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President and Head at Samsung India.
The design aesthetics of the new Galaxy Z Fold7 – featuring a sleek and lightweight profile – have captured considerable attention. The introduction of new colors, flagship processing capabilities, along with Galaxy AI, have enhanced the user experience, he further commented.
The company reported that it is experiencing an unprecedented level of demand for the Galaxy Z Fold7, with the smartphone becoming ‘out-of-stock’ in select areas nationwide.
To meet this overwhelming demand, Samsung is implementing necessary measures at its manufacturing facility in Noida.
Previously, Samsung India announced it had garnered an impressive 210,000 pre-orders for its seventh generation foldable devices - Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE – within just 48 hours in India, indicating the rapid mainstream acceptance of foldable technology.
“We are working diligently to ensure that our most advanced smartphone is available for customers to enjoy the Galaxy Z Fold7 as soon as possible. The strong demand is being observed in both retail and online platforms,” said Pullan.
The Galaxy Z Fold7, in its thinnest and lightest configuration yet, weighs merely 215 grams – even lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It measures just 8.9 mm thick when folded and 4.2 mm thick when unfolded, according to the company.
