New Delhi, July 9 (NationPress) Samsung Electronics unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 series smartphones on Wednesday, boasting exceptional features at both software and hardware levels.
The slimmest and lightest iteration of the Galaxy Z Fold series to date offers a premium performance typical of ultra smartphones while providing greater efficiency and productivity with its expansive, immersive display when unfolded.
Built on the new One UI 8, the devices seamlessly incorporate intelligent, multimodal agents tailored for the foldable form factor.
“The Galaxy Z Fold7 merges Galaxy AI with robust hardware to present our most sophisticated smartphone experience to date,” stated TM Roh, President and Acting Head of the Device eXperience (DX) Division at Samsung Electronics.
“This next chapter in foldables unites design and engineering with AI specifically crafted for the foldable format. It delivers the ultra experience users desire—powerful, immersive, intelligent, and portable,” he added.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 series will be available for pre-order starting July 9, with general availability commencing on July 25.
Weighing in at just 215 grams, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It measures only 8.9 mm in thickness when folded and 4.2 mm when unfolded. The device features a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x cover display, offering a wider screen with a new 21:9 aspect ratio.
The main display, an 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x, provides ultra-rich contrast, true blacks, and vibrant details that enhance every aspect—from movies to multitasking.
Equipped with Vision Booster and capable of reaching up to 2,600 nits of peak brightness, the Galaxy Z Fold7 remains brilliantly visible, even under direct sunlight.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, the device boasts performance enhancements of 41 percent in NPU, 38 percent in CPU, and 26 percent in GPU compared to its predecessor. With the introduction of the first 200MP wide-angle camera in the Galaxy Z series, it captures four times more detail, producing images that are 44 percent brighter.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip7 is designed as a compact, intelligent companion for seamless interaction and everyday reliability, featuring intuitive voice AI and superior selfie capabilities.

The 4.1-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow, the largest on a Galaxy Z Flip, offers edge-to-edge usability, allowing users to see and do more on the cover screen.
With a peak brightness of 2,600 nits and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate on both the main display and the FlexWindow, the Galaxy Z Flip7 facilitates ultra-fluid scrolling, streaming, and gaming. Additionally, the FlexWindow features Vision Booster, enhancing outdoor visibility for users to stay connected wherever they go.
